Exhibition background
“Shanghai International Optical Communication Exhibition 2011” organized together by The Chinese Optical Society, Shanghai Pudong Sub-Council of China Council For The Promotion of International Trade, GUANGDONG LIGHT EMITTING DIODE INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, Guangdong Organic Light Emitting Diode Industry Association, Guangdong Flat Panel Display Industry Association, Wuhan Laser Association of Optics Valley of China, Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Company and Shanghai Guantong Exhibition Planning Co., Ltd. will be held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition And Convention Center (the original Shanghai Expo Theme Pavilion) from 21-23 November 2011. Shanghai International Optical Communication Exhibition 2011 belongs to the professional exhibition of Shanghai International Optoelectronic Expo 2011, and the grand meeting receives strong support from several associations and considerable media, exhibitors from more than ten countries and regions will display their latest technical equipments and discuss the most advanced development trend and market dynamics at that time.

Market background
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology confirms the investment scale of communication industry in the period of “the 12th five year plan” in public for the first time recently, it is required that by 2011, the total investment for 3G construction reaches RMB 400 billion, and the number of 3G users reaches 150 million. During the period of “the 12th five year plan”, general investment scale of telecommunications industry of our country will reach RMB 2 trillions, and the equipment investment is possible to exceed the expectations. Three demanding of optical fiber, WLAN and terminal will benefit the relevant equipment manufacturers.
Before 2012, tri-network integration will facilitate broadcast & TV and telecommunications to conduct pilot project. Tri-network integration development will be realized in 2015, and the tri-network integration will facilitate the relevant manufacturing operations vigorously, especially the development of optical communication devices and electronic information industry, so as to facilitate the metropolitan access and the brand width upgrading of the main line network.
Under the background that lighting entering and copper backing has already becomes the national strategy, the acceleration of tri-network integration construction provides increasing force for fiber broadband access to the market. The key work in current policy is to speed up the network construction of telecommunications broadband network, facilitate urban Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and expand the covering scope of broadband network in rural area. The competition acceleration of broadband network will bring larger development space to the optical communication industrial chain of our country.

Optical communication testing apparatus: Optical Time Domain Reflector (OTDR), PMD testing equipment, signal optical spectrum analyzer, signal generator, sweep oscillator, optical fiber (optical grating) demodulation, optical fiber (optical grating) network analyzer, network testing equipment, optical fiber welding machine, optical fiber fusion machine, simulation design and test software, optical fiber (optical waveguide) analysis meter, optical attenuator (loss) testing equipment, light source|optical power meter, other optical communication measuring, etc.
6. Stand description:
A. Standard stand configuration: Chinese and English banner, two fluorescent lights, separator (250cm high and 246cm available height), one negotiation desk, two chairs, one socket that can tolerate 400W/220V and blanket;

Technical conference:
RMB 10, 000/hour for domestic enterprises and USD 2, 000/hour for foreign capital enterprises. The following things are provided: Meeting room of around 60-100 persons, projector, screen, platform, chairs, stereo, papers, pens, drinking water, publicity before exhibition, etc.

Exhibition matters
1. The exhibited organizations shall fill Exhibition Contract Form and seal the official stamp, and then mail or fax to the committee;
2. After enrollment, the exhibited organizations must send the relevant expenses to the designated account by the committee within 7 working days;
3. The stand arrangement takes “enrolling first, paying first, arranging first” as the principle and the committee has right to adjust some stands;
4. For the exhibits transportation, exhibition reception and accommodation affairs, the committee will send the Exhibitor Handbook three months before the exhibition.
Relevant service
1. Coordinate to arrange the exhibits transportation and customs clearance of foreign enterprises;
2. Provide convenient service to exhibition representatives and coordinate the representatives to book hotels, return tickets and air tickets;
3. Coordinate the exhibited organizations to held different types of press conferences, product project promotion, symposium and technical seminar
